Mach-25

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to embody the collaborative spirit of our interdisciplinary team to design, construct and launch a high-performing 2-stage rocket for Category 3 which deploys a CanSat for the Mach-25 Competition. By using a J540R class motor for the sustainer and a K185W class motor for the booster, our rocket will reach the desired apogee of 2.5 km. The CanSat will be deployed and using deep neural networks and Machine Learning will fulfill the criteria of the competition category. Comprising of 14 students from a spectrum of engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical and systems – as well as other STEM fields such as Mathematics and Physics, our team spans from first-year enthusiasts to experienced fourth-year engineers. We aim to increase the profile of Warwick University in the aerospace sector and spread the idea of aerospace engineering in the university.
